New Zealand Parliament Speaker arrives in Hanoi for official visit
(VOVWORLD) -Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives Gerry Brownlee arrived in Hanoi on Wednesday, beginning his five-day official visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man.

Speaker Brownlee and his entourage were welcomed at Noi Bai International Airport by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Anh Tuan, Ambassador of New Zealand to Vietnam Caroline Rachel Beresford, and other officials of the embassy.
The visit comes as the two countries have just celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations (June 19).
