(VOVWORLD) -A delegation of the Party Central Committee, the State President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee laid a wreath and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on Tuesday on the occasion of the 96th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

The delegation included Party General Secretary To Lam, President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, as well as many incumbent and former leaders of the Party, State, and National Assembly. The delegation laid a wreath with the inscription “Eternal gratitude to great President Ho Chi Minh”.
The delegation expressed their profound respect and remembrance of the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, the founder, leader, and mentor of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the vanguard of the working class, the working people, and the Vietnamese nation. Over 96 years of development and growth, the Party has led the people to achieve tremendous accomplishments.

The 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam coincides with the nationwide celebration of the success of the 14th National Party Congress. The Congress was a historically significant event, demonstrating the strategic vision and strong political determination of the Party, State, and people of Vietnam in leading the country into a new era of national rise.
Afterwards, Party and State leaders laid wreaths at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street, Hanoi, to commemorate the fallen soldiers.
