Prime Minister Chinh stressed the need to firmly maintain macroeconomic stability, keep inflation under control and promote growth of around 10 percent while ensuring major economic balances. He said it’s necessary to accurately assess current global developments and their impact on major issues such as energy, macroeconomic management, business activities, people’s livelihoods, relations with major powers and logistics. It would allow policymakers to respond proactively, flexibly and effectively.

Outlining key solutions, the Prime Minister called for ensuring adequate fuel and electricity supplies while addressing difficulties related to energy and advancing the green energy transition. Efforts should focus on removing obstacles, addressing stalled projects, resolving difficulties for household businesses and tackling bottlenecks related to land, electricity and natural resources.

He also called for further institutional improvement to encourage innovation, reduce input costs for people and businesses, and enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, products and the broader economy. Promoting science and technology development, especially artificial intelligence, was also highlighted.
