(VOVWORLD) -Quang Ninh province is celebrating the 80th traditional day of the culture sector, which falls on August 28, making culture a brand and a “soft passport” to reach out to global destinations.

Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, said: “Quang Ninh has identified that people and culture are irreplaceable, infinite resources. We hope that the cultural, sports, tourism sectors and the local authorities continue to embrace this mission, making greater creativity, innovation, and breakthroughs to fully tap the resources.”
Over the past five years, the province welcomed approximatley 80 million visitors, including 10 million international tourists, generating a revenue of over 6.67 billion USD.
