Party General Secretary To Lam joined the program from the Pac Bo Special National Historical Site in Cao Bang Province; State President Luong Cuong participated from Ho Chi Minh City; and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh from Hanoi.
Speaking at the event, Party leader To Lam emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh’s historic return 85 years ago continues to offer enduring lessons today. These include the importance of self-reliance and resilience as a prerequisite for safeguarding national independence; relying on the people as the root of strength; and combining national strength with the strength of the times, ensuring independence without isolation and integration without losing identity.
Caring for revolutionary sites, ethnic minority communities, and border regions is not merely a social policy, but an investment in the foundations of national security and the country’s long-term future, the Party General Secretary said.
“From Pac Bo, where President Ho Chi Minh returned and placed his full trust in the people, we are reminded of a simple yet profound truth: when the people’s confidence is firm, the nation is strong; when the people have faith, even the most difficult tasks can be accomplished,” he noted.
