State President pays Tet visit to Phu Tho province
(VOVWORLD) - State President Luong Cuong on Thursday visited and extended Tet greetings to the Party Committee, authorities, poor households, policy beneficiary families, disadvantaged workers, and the armed forces of Phu Tho province.

The President urged local authorities to continue improving people’s livelihoods and to ensure that Lunar New Year 2026 is celebrated in a joyful, healthy, safe, and economical manner, so that every household can welcome the New Year.
President Cuong said: “We need to pay special attention to policy beneficiaries, including Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, wounded and sick veterans, families of fallen soldiers, people with meritorious service to the revolution, disadvantaged workers, and the poor. We need to effectively implement policies for the armed forces and their families.”

On this occasion, President Luong Cuong presented Tet gifts to the local Party Committee, authorities, and armed forces, and handed more than 500 gift packages to poor households and 500 to disadvantaged workers.
Earlier the same day, the State President visited and extended Tet greetings to the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command, and to the armed forces units under Military Region 2 and Division 316.
