(VOV) - Measures to boost Vietnam’s exports, especially wooden and aquatic products, to the European market were high on the agenda at a seminar in the central city of Binh Dinh today/on Thursday. Experts in wooden and aquatic products from Binh Dinh province and Germany reviewed current exports to the market. A number of challenges and the potential for increasing exports to the EU market were also discussed. The participants highlighted the need for Binh Dinh and other localities to pay more attention to design, and invest in new production technology to raise the quality of product. Last year, Binh Dinh earned more than 270 million USD from exporting wooden products, up 2.2 percent against the previous year. But, in the first four months of this year, revenues have only reached 88 million USD, a year-on-year decrease of 14.5 percent.
