(VOVWORLD) - This week, VOVWorld’s English section continued to receive greetings on Vietnam’s National Day and VOV’s 78th founding anniversary from listeners around the world.

(VOVWORLD) - We just had a 4-day holiday for Vietnam’s National Day on September 2nd. Coming back to work, we found our mailbox flooded with congratulatory messages from our listeners. We’d like to express our sincere thanks to all of you.

(VOVWORLD) - First on our show today, we’d like to thank all the listeners for sending us greetings on the occasion of Vietnam’s August Revolution (August 19), National Day (September 2) and VOV’s founding anniversary (September 7).

(VOVWORLD) - This week VOVWorld received 370 letters and emails from listeners around the world. Many of our listeners tune in to our programs every day and send us feedback right after listening to our programs.

(VOVWORLD) - This week, VOVWorld received more than 400 letters, emails, and phone calls from listeners of 36 countries and territories.

(VOVWORLD) - First up, we warmly welcome two new listeners who wrote to us this week – Samarendra Biswas and Sukanta Kumar Mohanty of India.

(VOVWORLD) - We’d like to welcome Bruce Lee of Australia to VOV. In his first correspondence to VOV, he wrote: “I’m a radio enthusiast and live in Australia. When I listen to the Voice of Vietnam, I feel I’m close to Vietnam. I wish to report the reception of your broadcasting recently.”

(VOVWORLD) - We continue to receive a substantial number of letters, emails, and phone calls from listeners around the world. Besides reception reports on the programs they listened to, they expressed their interested in various issues in Vietnam, such as Vietnam’s public transportation, metro system, external relations, and export of staple products.

(VOVWORLD) - We’d like to welcome to VOV, Michele Gasparri of Italy, who reported listening to VOV on July 11 on the frequency of 9730 kHz. Mr. Gasparri sent us feedback on our program in both Italian and English.
