(VOVWORLD) - Last week the 13 language sections of VOV World received over 360 letters, emails, and phone calls from listeners in 36 countries. In addition to technical feedback on the transmission, they expressed their appreciation for VOV’s shortwave broadcasts covering political, social, and economic developments in Vietnam that they can’t hear about on local media.

(VOVWORLD) - Matt Francis, a regular listener to VOV’s English programs told us: “The Voice of Vietnam is regularly and reliably heard in our evenings. My listening location is a residential neighborhood, about 40 km north of the centre of Sydney, in an area known as the 'northern beaches'. My receiver is a Tecsun PL880 portable radio with a short external wire antenna.”

(VOVWORLD) - We’d like to welcome to VOV Mr. Alvarez Thomas of Argentina who reported listening to our program from 11:30 to 12:00 UTC on May 31 on the frequency of 12020 khz. He wrote: “I’m pleased to inform you that I have had the opportunity to listen to your radio station on shortwave with SINPO of 45544.”

(VOVWORLD) - Among the more than 360 letters and emails we received from listeners in 36 countries and territories this week, we’d like to acknowledge correspondence from Bidhan Chandra Sanyal of India, who listens to our broadcast frequently and sends regular feedback to VOV.

(VOVWORLD) - We’re very moved to have received a lot of congratulatory messages for the Vietnamese sports delegation’s victory at the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia.

(VOVWORLD) -First and foremost, we’d like to send out a big thanks to all of our faithful listeners for your much appreciated salutations and show of support to the Vietnamese athletes for their most impressive success at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games or SEA Games in Cambodia which concluded on Wednesday.

(VOVWORLD) - Last week we received over 320 letters, emails, and phone calls from listeners in 34 countries and territories. We’re very glad that we have new listeners every day.

(VOVWORLD) - Over the past few weeks, the English Service of VOVWorld has received letters, emails, and feedback from our long-time listeners, who began listening to VOV in the 1970s or 1980s and have been following VOV since then.

(VOVWORLD) - This week VOVWORLD received 448 letters and phone calls from listeners in 35 countries and territories. Many of them were from regular listeners who send us reception reports on a weekly basis.
