[VOVWORLD] - When many people think of Mexican music, mariachi is often the first thing that comes to mind. But Mexico's musical landscape is far more diverse than that. In fact, the country's geography has played a major role in shaping the sounds that have developed across its regions. In this episode, we'll begin a musical road trip across Mexico to explore how geography and culture come together to create unique musical traditions.

(VOVWORLD) - This man’s music has lived for nearly 70 years and is considered a genre in its own right. 600 songs. Millions of records sold in Japan. Trinh Cong Son, dubbed the Bob Dylan of Vietnam, is simply known as Trinh. 25 years after his death, hundreds of his songs are still sung by heart - at home, in small cafés, at concerts across Vietnam. So what happens when you take music that famous and play it in a jazz style? Is it a tribute…or a betrayal?
