During the session, the National Assembly will consider and pass 19 laws and resolutions, give initial opinions on seven draft laws, decide on five major matters within its authority, and discuss other issues.
Among the key items on the agenda are the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Plant project, the Law on Urban Development, a draft law amending and supplementing provisions to nine military and defence laws, and the proposal to establish Quang Ninh City as a centrally governed municipality. The National Assembly is also expected to hold its first discussion on the revised Land Law, the revised Law on Real Estate Business, the revised Housing Law, and the draft revised Penal Code.
