Among them, the APEC High-Level Conference Center and Phu Quoc APEC Multi-purpose Performance Hall project is seeing the gradual installation of the column system surrounding the circular theater block.
Nearly 30 of the 50 columns encircling the theater have been erected, while the reinforced concrete structure is about 98% complete. Designed to accommodate over 4,000 people, the facility is expected to host the opening and closing ceremonies of the APEC Summit, as well as cultural and artistic performances.
“The multi-purpose theater and conference center complex is currently undergoing roofing, glass installation, and exterior finishing work. We are mobilizing a workforce of roughly 3,500 people and hundreds of pieces of machinery daily to focus on the task. Overtime shifts are being implemented to speed up construction and ensure we meet established milestones,” said Hoang Khac Ky, Head of the Construction Division at Sun Management Consulting Co., Ltd.
Seven projects are progressing well, including the Phu Quoc International Airport.
