The same day, the Australian Government inaugurated the Australia Space at the Can Tho University which will connect researchers, students, policymakers and experts from Vietnam and Australia and showcase Australia's development cooperation in the Mekong Delta.
Chairman of the Can Tho municipal People's Committee Truong Canh Tuyen said: "We will continue to create favourable conditions to further expand our cooperation with Australian partners. We encourage partnerships in education and training, scientific research, innovation, digital transformation, healthcare, green agriculture, environment-friendly development, climate change adaptation, reducing rural environmental pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting people-to-people exchanges."
