Professor, Dr. octor Mac Quoc Anh, Vice President and Secretary General of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises HANOISME, said the forum seeks solutions to help SMEs overcome difficulties related to capital, technology, management and markets, thereby enhancing their competitiveness.

In order to integrate more deeply in global value chains, Mr Anh suggested businesses to meet requirements for quality, cost, delivery time, traceability, digital transformation, green transformation and transparent governance. They also need to standardize their products, improve export capacity, build their brands and proactively seek strategic partners in the region and around the world.

Bui Manh Toan, Chairman and CEO of Vietnox JSC, a company specializing in stainless steel supply and raw-material solutions in Vietnam, said: “We have been working with Agribank Lang Ha Branch for more than 10 years, and everything has gone smoothly. The bank has helped us access export-import loans at preferential interest rates, reducing costs between 1 and 3 percent. It has provided a financial leverage for us to expand production and markets, so we can make practical contributions to the budget of the State and the capital.”

At the forum, SMEs had opportunities to discussed with representatives from corporations, banks, securities companies, investment funds, M&A experts, trade promotion organisations and technology partners. As part of the Capital Economic Forum 2026, the organisers launched an in-depth B2B Matching programme among businesses.
