Under the theme “Converging Heritage –Shaping the Future,” the festival featured an ao dai show and street performances, showcasing Vietnam’s distinctive cultural values and the unique cultural identities of participating countries.
Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Tuan Long said art troupes, artists, and artisans from 18 countries had created a vibrant and open international cultural gathering.
He said Hanoi always considers culture as a sustainable bridge that brings people closer together. Art has been brought into the daily lives of residents and visitors, making them part of the festival.
The event also provided an opportunity for Hanoi to promote the value of Hoan Kiem Lake, a special national relic and a historic and cultural symbol of the capital.
