These events include the 22nd Vietnam Craft Village Fair 2026, a week long program to promote agricultural and rural tourism, and the award ceremony for the Vietnam Handicrafts Competition.
The activities all aim to promote trade and develop the rural economy. The Vietnam Craft Village Fair is designed as a central venue for localities, businesses, and cooperatives to introduce and promote their products to consumers.
"During the event, travel agencies will introduce their tours and itineraries to visitors. Visitors can sign up for these programs at the fair, or browse and shop handicrafts, and learn more about famous rural tourist destinations across the countries," said Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center.
This year's fair will see the first-ever week long program to promote agricultural and rural tourism, during which, craft villages and rural tourism will be promoted and introduced through social media and digital platforms to consumers at home and abroad.
