National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the show called "Ba Dinh Sunshine".
The program tells the story of Ho Chi Minh’s return in 1941 to lead the Vietnamese revolution, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam in the autumn of 1945, the first National Assembly election in 1946, and the legislature’s 80 years of supporting the nation in the cause of national independence, reunification, renewal, and development.
The program recalled many heroic moments with timeless songs.
“It’s a major occasion, and I’m very excited. Reflecting on our nation’s sacred history and the peaceful happiness we enjoy today, we honor the contributions of the generations before us who sacrificed so much for this peace. We feel a sense of pride, deep respect, and gratitude,” said audience member Nguyen Thi Tam of Ninh Binh province.
