National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his spouse Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga attended the show held on Thursday in Hanoi by the People's Deputies Newspaper.

"Ba Dinh Sunshine" program recreated the journey spanning from the time President Ho Chi Minh returned to the country to lead the Vietnamese revolution in 1941, through the historic autumn of 1945 that saw the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, and from the first general election to elect the National Assembly in 1946 to the 80-year journey of the legislature standing alongside the nation in the cause of national independence, reunification, renewal, and development.

During the program, the audience relived heroic moments through timeless songs. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam, a resident of Ninh Binh province, told VOV, “I traveled from Phu Ly Ward, Ninh Binh Province, to attend this event. It is a major occasion, and I am very excited. Reflecting on our nation’s sacred history and the peaceful happiness we enjoy today, we remember the contributions of the generations before us who sacrificed so much for this peace. We feel a sense of pride, deep respect, and gratitude.”
