The donated materials include files on three martyrs’ personal belongings, burial records and maps identifying the graves of 21 martyrs at K76A Hospital, and decoded documents relating to Unit 962, linked to items unearthed during excavation work at Le Thi Rieng Park in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the handover ceremony, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, said every document, photograph, or every memento, no matter how small, is an invaluable source of information for the search for fallen soldiers.
“We are making every effort, as directed by the Prime Minister, to implement the 500-day campaign and fulfill the responsibility of each of us, to bring the soldiers and martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the country, back to their families,” Mr. Cuong said.
