The new facility utilizes digital maps and the national database to receive reports on fire incidents, locate the fire, dispatch firefighters, and optimize for the "golden time" to minimize losses. The center is equipped with 138 vehicle trackers, 53 workstations, 500 inch displays, and other peripheral devices.
Its digital maps enable firefighters identify the shortest routes to the fire and locate the nearest sources of water. There's also a system to notify medical staffs and electricians for coordinated operations.
The center has direct access to the national database on fire prevention and fighting, rescue and salvage, which is managed by the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department; and is connected to relevant agencies across the country.
