Later the same day, Mr. Lâm met with staff of the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese community in India. Addressing the gathering, he stressed that every Vietnamese citizen in India serves as a “people’s ambassador.”
"I hope that businesses and workers would continue fostering dynamism and creativity, seize opportunities in bilateral economic cooperation, help connect markets, and promote trade, investment, and supply chains. Every Vietnamese citizen in India serves as a “people’s ambassador”, contributing to spreading the image of Vietnam, its land and people," said Mr. Lam.
He urged the community to preserve national cultural identity, maintain the Vietnamese language, nurture patriotism among younger generations, and actively integrate while respecting local laws and culture.
