Lê Hoang Gia Bao, a resident of Cam Le ward in Da Nang, said: “I’m very happy that the trade union gave us Mid-Autumn Festival gifts and sweets. I also enjoyed the music and lion dance performances. My school is organizing many other activities.”

Can Tho also held a Mid-Autumn Festival event, themed “Lanterns lighting up dreams”. 550 gift packages worth 6,500 US dollars, were given to disadvantaged children in Hoa An commune. Sixth-grader Ngo Thanh Sang of Luong The Vinh Secondary and High School said: “I received a Mid-Autumn Festival gift and enjoyed the lion dance and the performance. This is the first time I’ve come to kindergarten to celebrate the festival, and I’m very happy.”

The same evening, a Mid-Autumn Festival program was held at Yen Khuong Primary and Lower Secondary Boarding School in Yen Khuong border commune, Thanh Hoa province, where more than 1,000 gift packages were given to students from border communes.
