Prime Minister said the visit creates momentum for Vietnam-Panama relations to enter a new stage of development. He proposed that both sides concretize high-level agreements and boost cooperation in economics, trade, investment, transport, and logistics, while facilitating market access for each other's goods.

For his part, President José Raúl Mulino said Panama views Vietnam as a key partner in Southeast Asia and stands ready to leverage the advantages of the Panama Canal, as well as its seaport and logistics systems, to assist Vietnam in accessing Latin American and broader American markets.

During his meeting on Wednesday in Hanoi with the President of Panama, National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man noted that the National Assembly of Vietnam has established a Vietnam-Panama Friendship Parliamentarians' Group, adding that cooperation between the two legislative bodies serves as a crucial pillar, consolidating political trust and a favorable legal framework for bilateral agreements.

The President of Panama expressed his hope that the National Assembly of Vietnam will support the major directions for strengthening bilateral relations and the implementation of reached agreements, delivering concrete results for the development and benefit of the peoples of both countries.
