Mr. Hung made the suggestions while receiving GMR founder and Chairman Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao and ACME Vice Chairman Sanjay Dhawan in New Delhi as part of his visit to India for the 18th BRICS Summit and bilateral engagements.
PM Hung welcomed the efforts by GMR, one of India’s leading infrastructure conglomerates, to strengthen connectivity with Vietnamese partners.
He encouraged the group to participate in aviation infrastructure, technology, and service projects and share experience, transfer technology and contribute to human resources training in Vietnam.
PM told ACME Vice Chairman Sanjay Dhawan that Vietnam welcomes major Indian corporations with strong technological capabilities to increase investment in Vietnam, particularly in clean energy, green industry, new materials, high-tech, infrastructure, and digital transformation.
He suggested that ACME expand cooperation and investment in Vietnam through large-scale projects that create added value and connect with regional markets.
ACME was also urged to consider green and renewable-energy projects in Vietnam, increase technology transfer, human resource training, business connectivity, and ecosystem development to help establish green industrial value chains.
