Ahmed Mazen Alghamdi and Firas Al Buraikan scored impressive goals, as Saudi Arabia lifted the title for the first time after having finished runners-up in 2013 and 2020.

Saudi Arabia did not concede a single goal in six matches of the tournament.

Vietnam, runners-up of the 2018 tournament, was eliminated after a 0-2 defeat to Saudi Arabia in the quarterfinal match on June 12.
