(VOVworld) – The National Council for Science and Technology Policy convened its annual meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday focusing on opportunities, challenges, roles, and missions of science and technology in Vietnam’s international integration.

The Council’s President Hoang Van Phong said that international integration has helped Vietnam’s science and technology fully tap foreign advancements in both research and application, contributing to the improvement of its human resource and technological renovation.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan suggested major issues regarding integration, focusing on the selection and investment in key products to enhance the international competitiveness.
