The remote thermometer keeps health workers at a safe distance from the individual whose temperature is being measured. It uses a proximity sensor to detect if there is someone standing nearby, an adjustor that moves the infrared sensor to match the individual’s height, and an LED screen to display the temperature reading.
With the touch-free hand sanitizer dispenser, there is no possibility that an infected person might contaminate the container and spread the virus to the next user.
Master Nguyễn Đình Luyện, a lecturer in the Faculty of Technology, said: “The touch-free hand sanitizer dispenser uses a sensor to recognize when hands are placed near it and sprays a mist of sanitizer. It is safer than using a conventional manual dispenser. This touch-free dispenser can safely disinfect a great number of students.”
