Experts warned that tensions in the Middle East, intensifying major-power competition, and supply chain disruptions are putting increasing pressure on global energy security, including in Vietnam.
In response, Vietnamese enterprises are urged to strengthen forecasting capacity, develop flexible response scenarios, and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
Participants recommended diversifying petroleum import markets and accelerating the development of strategic crude oil reserves. They also highlighted the need to improve energy diplomacy and promote biofuels to reduce reliance on traditional fuels.
Flexible petroleum tax policies and faster deployment of renewable energy projects, particularly wind and solar, were also emphasized to help ensure stable supply amid rising external risks.
