South Korea took the lead with a goal by Cho Young-wook, but went down to ten men in the 78th minute. Just 5 minutes later, Vietnam equalised through a great goal scored by Vu Tien Long. With this result, Vietnam are in third place with two points, after South Korea and Thailand, and have a chance to advance to the next stage. Vietnam will face Malaysia on Wednesday in the final match of Group C.
