At a meeting with Irish Ambassador to Vietnam Deirdre Ní Fhallúin toward the occasion of the 30th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations in Hanoi on Tuesday, Ms Hang proposed several key directions for cooperation, including enhancing political trust, promoting exchanges at all levels, and organizing youth, student, cultural, and artistic exchanges to mark the anniversary.
She also urged Ireland to expedite ratification of the EU–Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), maintain and expand scholarship programs for Vietnamese students and researchers, and encourage Irish tourism enterprises to participate in tourism events in Vietnam.
Ambassador Deirdre Ní Fhallúin expressed her wish to organize more cultural exchange activities, such as music performances and events promoting Ireland’s country and people in Vietnam.
