DSA 2026 brings together high-level representatives from ministries of defense and armed forces from 60 countries. Among them, 38 countries are exhibiting their capabilities, plus 1,400 leading global defense industry companies.

Vietnam’s participation shows its commitment to international defense industry cooperation and affirms that the Government and the Ministry of National Defense continue to promote exchanges and partnerships based on equality, mutual benefit, and respect for Vietnam’s laws and international commitments.

On Monday General Thang met with Adly Bin Zahari, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Malaysia. The two agreed to strengthen bilateral defense cooperation in a more practical and comprehensive way and to soon sign a memorandum of understanding on law enforcement cooperation and maritime search and rescue, as well as an agreement establishing joint maritime patrols and a communication channel between their navies.

They agreed to share information, coordinate law enforcement, assist each other’s fishing vessels and fishermen in distress, ensure humane treatment, and support each other at multilateral forums.
