During talks in Hanoi on Tuesday with Patrick Sweeney, founder and CEO of American Kestrel Corporation, Public Security Minister General Lương Tam Quang said science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation are central to Vietnam's long-term development strategy.
He said the Ministry of Public Security is ready to work with major US companies in areas including artificial intelligence, semiconductors, cloud computing, big data, cybersecurity, and other strategic technologies.
Sweeney said American companies remain committed to expanding cooperation with Vietnam, saying stronger business ties would reinforce the two countries' Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in a more practical manner, bringing benefits to the governments, peoples and businesses of the two countries.
