The Philippines finished second with 12 medals—two gold, seven silver, and three bronze—while Cambodia took third place with one gold medal.
The tournament concluded Friday at the Quang Ninh Sports Complex after nearly a week of competition.
It brought together over 180 athletes from five Southeast Asian countries: Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Cambodia.
Participants competed in 12 events, comprising six individual and six team events, across the three fencing disciplines: épée, sabre, and foil.
