People thought Ha would live dependent on the care of his family and society. But he has overcome his handicap to become the owner of a garment factory. Ha not only provides jobs for local people with disabilities but also inspires them to nurture dreams and to be confident in life.

(VOVworld) – Nguyen Quang Thach, who calls himself a book beggar, is working on his plan to bring books to rural areas and establish a reading habit in poor areas. Thach hopes that in the next 7 years, there will be another 200,000 bookstores in schools, another 70,000 bookstore in family clans, and 7,000 bookstores in dioceses across the country.

(VOVworld) – Tran Thi Thuan Hoa was honored as one of the 10 outstanding young people in 2012 by the Youth Union. Hoa is director of a pig-raising facility that earns billions of VND annually. She is considered a youth leader as she has employed and found jobs for young people in her home village in Thai Binh province.

(VOVworld) – Singer Thai Thuy Linh was honored as one of the 10 outstanding young people in 2012 by the Youth Union. She was acknowledged for initiating a music program to perform at hospitals nationwide to entertain doctors and patients. The humanitarian program also raises money to support less fortunate patients.
