Old Hanoi recreated through exhibition at Hoa Lo Prison Relic

(VOVWORLD) - An exhibition called “A Glimpse of Heritage” opened on Monday at the Hoa Lo Prison Relic in Hanoi to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Hanoi’s being recognized as a "City for Peace" by UNESCO (July 16, 1999-2024). The exhibition offers visitors an authentic view into the history of the capital city’s well-known relic sites.

(VOVWORLD) -In a simple house on the outskirts of Hanoi, a woman in her 60s has given love and hope to 500 children with disabilities. She is Doan Thi Hoa who founded the Quỳnh Hoa Charity Vocational Training Center. For the past 17 years Hoa has given hundreds of physically disabled children a place where they can fit in.

VOV wins big at 2023 National Press Awards

(VOVWORLD) - VOV journalists won two first prizes and one third prize in the broadcasting category of the 2023 National Press Awards. This is the first time VOV has won two first prizes at the contest. The awards ceremony took place in Hanoi on Friday, coinciding with the 99th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory of May 7, 1954, Team Lee members went to Dien Bien province to present 30 restored portraits of Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces to the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum.
