During the war ‘rau nhip’ was part of the daily diet of soldiers stationed deep in the jungle. (VOVworld) – Thousands of farmers in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh have earned relatively high incomes from aquaculture under the canopy of mangrove forests. This production method has helped farmers gain stable revenue and localities quickly restore their coastal mangrove forests.

(VOVworld) - Kom Pong Chray Pagoda, also known as Hang Pagoda, in Chau Thanh district, Tra Vinh province, is famous for its traditional Khmer Theravada Buddhist architecture. But it is becoming equally well-known for the wood carving workshop situated behind the pagoda. In operation for13 years, the workshop has taught dozens of Khmer young people a means of earning their living.
