Resolution 36 on "Strategy for sustainable development of Vietnam's marine economy to 2030, with a vision to 2045", adopted at the 8th Plenum of the 12th Party Central Committee, outlines the importance of developing the sea and island economy and making Vietnam a strong, rich maritime country.

The country has made great achievements in 10 years of implementing Politburo Resolution 22 on international integration. (VOVWORLD) - The armed groups which attacked the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Ktur and Ea Tieu communes, Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province, on June 11 have been arrested and will be investigated and prosecuted according to the law. But hostile forces have been taking advantage of the case to incite sabotage, cause instability, and call on other countries and international organizations to intervene in Vietnam’s internal affairs. They have distorted Vietnam’s efforts to ensure that all ethnic groups are equal, united, and respected to develop together.

(VOVWORLD) - In October 2021 the Prime Minister adopted a National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountain Areas until 2030. The Committee for Ethnic Affairs has been working closely with localities nationwide to review the implementation of the program and seek ways to enhance the development of ethnic minority regions.

(VOVWORLD) - During the past half tenure of the 13th Party Central Committee, Vietnam has made great strides in reducing poverty in ethnic minority regions. These achievements have narrowed gaps between the mountain and plain regions and promoted social justice in Vietnam.
