The event aimed to strengthen solidarity between military personnel and local residents, while encouraging officers and soldiers to remain committed to safeguarding Vietnam's maritime sovereignty.

Participants enjoyed cultural performances and held discussions, where families sharing stories and experiences about building happy and supportive homes.

“In Truong Sa, every family is part of one larger family on this frontline island," said Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huy Phung, Political Officer of Truong Sa, "The happiness and support of each family give our officers and soldiers greater strength to stand firm against the strong winds and waves. When the military and local people are united like one family, that unity becomes a powerful force in safeguarding the sacred sovereignty of Vietnam's sea and islands.”

As part of the celebrations, soldiers on the Truong Sa archipelago presented gifts to local families and encouraged children to continue studying hard and growing into responsible citizens.
