During the week long mission, the delegation visited Song Tu Tay, Sinh Ton, Da Lon B, Son Ca, Nam Yet, Truong Sa Dong, and Truong Sa islands, and DK1/16–Phuc Tan Platform. The voyage was held on the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Navy (7 May 1955 – 7 May 2026).

At each destination, the delegation held cultural exchanges and presented gifts and supplies to military personnel and residents on the islands and platforms, with a total value of more than 47,000 USD.

They also attended a solemn flag-raising and troop review ceremony on Truong Sa Island and held memorial services for officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives in safeguarding the nation’s maritime sovereignty in waters near Co Lin Island and the southern continental shelf of Vietnam. Flowers released into the sea expressed the deepest gratitude to those who laid down their lives for the sovereignty of national seas and islands.

The delegation also joined the “HiGreen” program to plant over 1,000 trees in support of the Navy’s “Greening Truong Sa” campaign.
