(VOVWORLD) - Bai choi is a type of folk art and folk game popular in Central Vietnam, particularly in Quang Nam province. Bai choi has played an important role in Hoi An residents’ spiritual life for centuries.

(VOVWORLD) - In June, 1957, President Ho Chi Minh returned to his home village in NgheAn province for the first time, following 5 decades of devotion to Vietnam’s salvation. Uncle Ho, in his worn-out khaki clothes and rubber sandals, waved and smiled at local people who were waiting for him at home. A gala night was held recently by Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in Nghe An province to remember his homecoming visit 60 years ago.

(VOVWORLD) - Artists of the 5B Small Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City are treating audiences to the play “The Leader”, a historical show about President Ho Chi Minh’s kindness. Scripted by Vu Thanh Binh and directed by emeritus artist Tran Minh Ngoc, the play has already touched people’s hearts.

(VOVWORLD) -The historical documentary novel “War Account 1-2-3-4-.75”, published in April 2014, features the fall of the Saigon administration under President Nguyen Van Thieu between January and April 1975.

(VOVWORLD) - April 30th, 1975, is a landmark in Vietnam’s history when the southern region was liberated and Vietnam was reunified. The historic event was a great inspiration for many songs, literary works, dramas, and films, including the documentary “Vietnam: 30 days in Saigon”, which provides a fresh look into the April 30th victory. The film has been recently acquired and publicized by the State Archives and Records Department of Vietnam at the 42nd Reunification Day.

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism was inaugurated in October 2010, coinciding with the 1,000th founding anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi. The village is an excellent place to learn about Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups.
