(VOVWORLD) - Bai choi singing of central Vietnam was officially recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in late 2017. The recognition acknowledges local efforts to preserve and promote the art form.

(VOVWORLD) - Hue Festival 2018 which concluded last week served as a rendezvous of culture and art from all over the world. In addition to colorful performances by foreign art troupes, the festival featured many shows about the unique culture of the former imperial city of Hue.

They are the Bun huot nam (water splashing festival) of the Lao ethnic minority people in Nua Ngam commune, Dien Bien district, and the art of making patterns on the traditional costumes of Mong Lengs, a branch of the Mong ethnic minority group in Sa Long commune, Muong Cha district.
