(VOVworld)- Don ca tai tu – southern folk music - was recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO in 2013. Since then, Ho Chi Minh City has been organizing activities to preserve and promote this art form.

(VOVworld)- Among the sands of art works on display at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, many are seriously damaged and need to be restored. The oil on canvas paintings “Mother and Child” by Le Thi Kim Bach and “Rice Wine” by Ka Kha Sam were recently successfully restored.

(VOVworld)- Tố nữ dân ca – “The lady singing folk songs” – is a Chèo, or traditional Vietnamese theater performance at the French Institute Hanoi. The performance which was arranged on a modern stage and decorated by contemporary painters appealed young audience to traditional theater.

The photo exhibit “Vietnam-the real war” has attracted a large number of visitors thanks to its true images of the atrocities of war and human stories behind the war.

(VOVworld)- The 7th European-Vietnamese Documentary Film Festival has concluded in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City giving the audience a chance to experience different cultures. Many of the screened films were prize winners at international film festivals. They truly and excitingly reflect the world, its changes. Ngoc Nga reports.

The energetic brave cricket overcomes numerous difficulties and challenges to realize his dream. The Youth Theater has recently dramatized the story as a gift to children on International Children’s Day.
