(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s folk game tug-of-war and its ritual was recognized as a multinational project for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO at the 10th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Namibia. (VOVworld)- The puppet play “Dances of the Night Queen” by the Vietnam Puppetry Theatre won the Gold Medal at the 4th International Puppetry Festival held in Hanoi last week. At the festival, Vietnamese artists also showed off their creativity through a variety of puppet performances which were highly acclaimed by the jury board.

VOVworld)- Kinh Thien Palace is the most important building in the Thang Long Royal citadel, which was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2000. It is at the center of the complex with the Doan Mon and the Flag Tower in front, the North Gate and the Hau Lau at its back and walls to the east and the west. The restoration of the palace is now underway.
