Ngo Dien Hy, VINASA’s Vice President, said: “This year's top 10 digital technology enterprises have a combined revenue of 4.7 billion USD and employ more than 75,000 people. They are prestigious enterprises, with strong revenue and excellent technological capabilities, that provide professional services and pay attention to environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
The sustainable growth of Vietnamese digital technology enterprises comes from sales of high-tech products and services and strong investment in research and development. The honored enterprises are leading the digital transformation that will make Vietnam a leading technology country in the region and the world.”
The first program in 2014 honored 30 enterprises in the fields of software production and processing goods for export. The revenue of the Vietnamese IT industry that year was just 34 billion USD. That has increased 4.5 fold to 150 billion USD, 14.4% of Vietnam's GDP. 1,500 digital technology enterprises in Vietnam earn revenue in foreign markets.
Nguyen Khac Lich, Director of the IT and Communications Industry Department at the Ministry of Information and Communications, said: “The Ministry expects the “Top 10 Outstanding Digital Technology Enterprises in Vietnam” to lead Vietnam’s digital technology community and fulfill their pioneering role in carrying out Vietnam’s digital revolution in the new era to make Vietnam a happy, prosperous, high-income industrialized country by 2045.”
