Within its functions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has proactively and regularly updated information on developments and policy adjustment of other countries to promptly recommend solutions to the Government for macroeconomic and energy management, Ms. Hang said.

It has been closely coordinating with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and other relevant ministries and agencies, and exchanging information with partners to strengthen trade and investment cooperation, and coordinating mutual support in responding to the current situation.

According to the spokeswoman, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also requested Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to proactively work with host-country authorities, local businesses, and foreign businesses to contribute to this effort.

In response to a question regarding Vietnam's stance on ensuring freedom and safety of navigation, spokeswoman Hang said Vietnam affirms its consistent stance on the importance of complying with international law in ensuring maritime security and safety for peace, stability, cooperation, and development.
