(VOVWORLD) - An International Conference on Sustainable Ocean Economy and Climate Change Adaptation was co-organized in Hanoi by the Vietnamese and Norwegian governments and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The Conference’s results will be the foundation for Vietnam to cooperate and carry out actions adapting to climate change and make important commitments to resolving global challenges.

(VOVWORLD) - Speaker Tan Chuan-Jin and a delegation from the Singaporean Parliament will pay an official visit to Vietnam from May 18 to May 20 at the invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue. The visit demonstrates the two sides’ strong commitment to strengthening the Vietnam-Singapore Strategic Partnership and cooperation for post-COVID-19 recovery. In February Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid a state visit to Singapore.

(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue is paying an official visit to Laos at the invitation of his Lao counterpart Saysomphone Phomvihane. The visit demonstrates Vietnam’s political trust, respect and priority for strengthening bilateral ties.

(VOVWORLD) - During his working visit to the United States, on Wednesday, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh delivered an important speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He told academics about Vietnam's view of today’s world, the role of sincerity, trust, and responsibility, and what needs to be done to show sincerity and increase trust and responsibility for a better world.

(VOVWORLD) - Distortion and biased reports on freedom of the press in Vietnam has been a trick of some organizations and individuals who are skeptical about Vietnam including Reporters without Borders (RSF). On May 3, 2002, RSF launched a so-called “Annual ranking of press freedom” which contained misinformation about press freedom in Vietnam. This is an old game that the organization reuses to deny the truth about Vietnam’s human rights.
