The famous tourist sites in Ba Vi region includes the Thien Son- Suoi Nga and Thac Da tourism sites, which are expected to become areas for environmental education. "The numbers of tourist sites in Ba Vi have been growing steadily in recent years. The region is also a destination for spring festival tours, ecological tours and community tours. Khoang Xanh, Ao Vua or King Pond, Thien Son- Suoi Nga and Bavi national park buffer zones are the most popular", said Nguyen Van Hai, Vice Chairman of Ba Vi District People's Committee.

In the past few years, the number of tourists to Ba Vi has risen dramatically. Last year, the region received more than 2 million visitors, up 40% against the previous year, and the area earned more than 6.7 million USD. However, most of the visitors were Vietnamese. Hanoi’s tourism sector has been introducing several measures to boost local tourism until 2020. The city encourages enterprises to upgrade their facilities and create new tourist products. "We aim to develop tourism into a spearhead economic sector by making the most of the areas potential for tourism. To this end, it is essential to diversify our tourist products to include tours of pagodas, temples, festivals and community events', said Mr. Hai.

Ba Vi region also boasts vast rolling grass fields and dairy farms. The combination of different tourist products including ecotourism, resorts, community tourism, and cultural and religious tourism make Ba Vi an ideal destination for tourists whether from Vietnam or overseas.
