Guided by the Resolution and the direction of Party General Secretary To Lam, the Lao Cai Economic Zone Authority is advising on breakthrough solutions to boost import–export activities, one of the province’s four key economic pillars.
Vuong Trinh Quoc, head of the Lao Cai Economic Zone Authority, said: "We are proposing a border gate economic zone master plan through 2045, with a particular focus on building a “smart border gate” model. This approach aims to increase customs clearance capacity while reducing costs and time for businesses and people engaged in cross-border trade via the Lao Cai International Border Gate."
According to Duong Duc Huy, Head of the Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Lao Cai provincial Party Committee, the province’s determination is reflected at the sectoral and administrative level and in a province-wide action program encompassing economic development, socio-cultural affairs, and national defense and security.
Huy said: "The resolutions will be widely implemented, ensuring that all cadres, Party members, and citizens understand them, enabling every individual, agency and locality to translate the resolutions into concrete action."
Lao Cai is demonstrating strong political resolve and a systematic approach to bringing the outcomes of the 14th National Party Congress to life. This reflects unity and strong confidence in the Party’s policies to make Lao Cai a growth pole of the northwestern region in the new development phase.
