Twelve households whose homes were destroyed by storms and floods in late 2024 have moved into newly built houses in a resettlement area with convenient roads and a stable supply of electricity and clean water.

One homeowner, Mr. Trieu Cong Ly of Yen Binh commune, Lao Cai province, said, “I’m very happy to have a house like this. I’m grateful to the State and my neighbors for their support. Living here is very comfortable. We no longer worry about natural disasters as in the old place.”

Nguyen Van Thong, Secretary of Hamlet 6’s Party cell in Yen Binh commune, said that all rural roads in the commune have been paved, while the electricity and public lighting system have been installed. There is no poor household in the hamlet. As a result, people’s trust in the Party’s guidelines and policies has grown.

“People actively contribute their opinions to the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress in a democratic manner. We’ve  organized contests about the Party’s history and past Congresses. These activities help bring the Party closer to the people and further strengthen their trust, affection and attachment to the Party,” said Thong.
