(VOVWORLD) -A program called "Get on Hanoi 2026" to kickstart the 2026 tourism season will be held from Friday to Sunday at the Tay Ho Cultural and Creative Space, the Hanoi Department of Tourism said on Wednesday.

The theme of the festival, "A Green Journey", reflects Hanoi's orientation for tourism development, which takes into account nature conservation, cultural heritage preservation, and sustainable development.
At a ceremony to launch the program, Hanoi will announce more than 80 highlight tourism offerings for 2026 and present decisions to recognize the Hanoi Botanical Garden, Thiet Ung Woodworking craft village, and Thuy Lam site in Dong Anh as municipal tourist destinations.
The three-day program will showcase the capital's latest tourism trends like eco-tourism, craft village tourism, cultural heritage tourism, creative tourism, community-based tourism, and green tourism.
